When you call a business that uses Relai's AI receptionist service, we may collect:

  • Your phone number
  • The content of your call (audio recording and transcript)
  • Any information you provide during the conversation (e.g., appointment requests, vehicle interests)

SMS / Text Messaging Privacy and Consent

By signing up for Relai's AI receptionist service and checking the SMS opt-in box during signup, you consent to receive SMS messages from Relai. These messages include:

  • New lead notifications when our AI receptionist captures customer calls for your business
  • System status updates and service notifications
  • Account and billing reminders
  • Security alerts related to your account

Message frequency varies based on the call volume to your business. Msg & data rates may apply per your carrier's plan.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting privacy@heyrelai.com. Reply HELP for assistance.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purposes. SMS consent data is used solely to provide the notification services described above.

Relai does not send SMS messages to end-customers calling our business clients. End-customers calling phone numbers serviced by Relai's AI receptionists receive voice-only service; no SMS messages are sent to them.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Connect you with the business you contacted
  • Send SMS confirmations and follow-up messages related to your inquiry
  • Forward your call details to the business owner so they can follow up
  • Improve our service quality

Information Sharing

We share your information only with the business you called. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Data Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are retained for as long as needed to provide service and as required by applicable law.
